Content

Content provides managers and designated safeguarding leads, with CPD content to use themselves with their teams to build knowledge and develop competencies. The Safeguarding Hub considers that one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to learning as a team. Safeguarding and child protection quizzes, scenarios and case studies accommodate 3 levels of learning from new starters, experienced staff and those who have DSL responsibilities. There’s something for everyone!

The Safeguarding Hub is packed full of content and new material is added every three months. Content can be viewed and completed online or can be downloaded. Content includes:

  • Factsheets

  • Quizzes

  • CPD session plans – for use in team meetings or with individuals as part of induction and supervision

Community

Members of the Safeguarding Hub will have the opportunity to be part of a wider community. Regular safeguarding and child protection updates are scheduled with Rachel to hear the latest news and to meet with other DSL colleagues. This will be done virtually via Zoom.

Safeguarding Conversations – which are recorded interviews between Rachel and expert colleagues are also part of the learning community.
