About Rachel Buckler

Rachel is a highly experienced practitioner, trainer and consultant working with a number of sectors supporting their safeguarding and child protection practices and procedures. Her career initially in childcare began over 30 years ago and she holds a number of professional qualifications including the NNEB, a BA Hons in Early Years and Education, PG Certificate in Management, and a post graduate qualification in leadership, NPQICL.

Early Years Hub

Rachel co-founded the Early Years Hub which provides training and consultancy for nurseries, pre-schools, childminders and out of school providers. She has been an early years inspector and still works closely with Ofsted in the context of her role as co-chair of the North West Ofsted Big Conversation.

NEW: Online Safeguarding Training for Nannies and Home-based Carers

Rachel has recently finished designing a new online training course aimed specifically at Nannies and carers based in a child’s home, where there may not be the same infrastructure and support available that is found in other Early Years settings. The course can be taken in your own time, all in one go or in sections, and includes a downloadable workbook AND a live Zoom session with Rachel once the course is finished to cover any questions you may have. You even get a certificate at the end!
