About Rachel Buckler

Rachel is a highly experienced practitioner, trainer, author and consultant working with a number of sectors in support of their safeguarding and child protection practice and procedures.

Rachel holds a number of professional qualifications including the NNEB, a BA Hons in Early Years and Education, PG Certificate in Management, and a post graduate qualification in leadership, NPQICL.

Safeguarding Children Level 2 online blended training

This level 2 safeguarding course is ideal for those working directly with children providing a sound basis upon which to understand safeguarding roles and responsibilities in the early years. Ideal for apprentices, new to the early years or those who need to update and refresh their existing knowledge. The blended model comprises of 5 online modules, a downloadable workbook and a live one hour session to join Rachel and colleagues to consolidate learning and ask questions.

This course can be completed individually or as part of a full team option along with the Designated Safeguarding Lead Masterclass bringing together the whole team for the one hour live session.

Early Years Hub – Child Protection training for Designated Safeguarding Leads.

This extremely popular model of online blended training for designated safeguarding leads or aspiring leads provides managers with the opportunity of completing the online modules incrementally and at a time that best suits their busy schedules. They can choose a date to register for the live hour session with Rachel and other colleagues where they can consolidate their learning and ask questions.

This course can be completed individually or as part of a full team option along with the Safeguarding Children Level 2 course bringing together the whole team for the one hour live session.

Safeguarding Hub

The Safeguarding Hub is an online resource and learning community for all things safeguarding and child protection in the early years.

It provides credible and authentic resources for managers, especially designated safeguarding leads (DSL’s), with content to deliver their own CPD to teams and individuals in their setting. Access to the Safeguarding Hub learning community provides DSL’s with live updates and opportunities to be guided by experts whilst learning from each other.

The annual subscription offers multiple resources on a variety of safeguarding and child protection themes with new content added every 3 months.

The role of the designated safeguarding lead
