This month’s instalment continues to build upon strengthened safeguarding practices reflected in a new Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework.
We have renamed the hygiene section of the dashboard Food Safety. This reflects a greater emphasis upon safer eating practices in the early years. We have created a comprehensive Safer Eating CPD bundle for you to use with teams to communicate the latest legislation and guidance that is now in place in England. The bundle has an adaptable session plan, factsheet, links to numerous resources and offers a quiz, activities and scenarios to use with your team to consolidate learning.
We have included the recording of our September DSL update session for those who couldn’t make the live session. This is situated in the Learning Community section of the dashboard.
